100% better with the new Sushi Chef!!! The previous Sushi Chef would make remarks and faces when you took sushi from the sushi station. It always seems like he hated his job. Food and service both amazing today!!

I recently visited the Fuji Asian Buffet in Dubuque, IA while visiting my mother who frequently comes here. I was pleasantly surprised with Fuji Asian Buffet. It is a great quality Chinese buffet with a sushi bar and a small bar for alcohol. The place was very clean, had comfortable booths, and tables. The place was fully packed with many families including children. It is a self serve buffet but they have servers who will take your drink orders and help you clear your plates. This was a wonderful buffet with a very large selection of delicious popular Chinese cuisine, American food options, a beautiful sushi bar, and a fun delicious dessert bar area with ice cream! They have delicious appetizers/starters such as crab rangoons, egg drop soup, pot stickers, and egg rolls. I loved they had a large seafood selection of shrimp, mussels, and crawfish great for seafood lovers like myself! The buffet also featured lots of stir fry classics such as chicken and broccoli, beef lo mein, and general tso's chicken. I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality for being a buffet. I also really loved the sushi bar. The staff were super friendly/attentive! I highly recommend this buffet because you definitely get your money's worth especially when you are super hungry! This is a great buffet to try many different Chinese cuisine options popular in many Chinese restaurants. They also have buffet options to satisfy the kids also. The dessert bar was a huge hit with the kids as they had ice cream, cute little cakes, and fruit. I definitely plan to come to Fuji Asian Buffet again!

The food is amazing. One of the best Asian buffets I've been to in a while. They keep the tables clear and the food hot. It is loud though but that's to be expected with as packed as it is.

In Dubuque Iowa today for doctor appointment and wanted a quick lunch. So what's quick and easy if not buffet; so Fuji Asian Buffet was the pick of the day!! Huge buffet and sushi for dine in or carry out!! There are a variety of choices for every taste buds. The hostess was very nice and greeted me with a smile. I liked that very much! I was seated right away and was asked what kind of drink I would like. They are very clean and I like how they still take precautions even though Covid restrictions have been lifted & provided plastic gloves at the buffet table to use before handling the ladles. Great selection of food, hot, fresh and YUMMO!! Just to name a few; Appetizers Hot & Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup, Crawfish, Mussels, Beef with Broccoli, Shrimp, Fried Rice, lo mein, fish, Crab Rangoons, Sushi, Pork Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Coconut Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, Mongolian Beef, chicken wings, sesame balls, fried bananas, ice cream and tons of dessert, etc... If you are going to be in Dubuque, be sure to try it once.

Overall this was surprisingly good. As with most buffets, there are usually a lot of things in the buffet I don't trust. However this place seemed clean and the food was pretty decent. There were only a few things I tried that I didn't care for - in particular the hibachi beef. I also wasn't totally crazy for the fried rice but the lo mein was good. But there were a LOT of options and most of them were fairly cheap. All of it was reasonably priced as well.

Excellent Asian Restaurant. Fresh crab, fresh vegetables, then tradition Asian Chicken dishes Fresh cantaloupe and then desserts. Good for family and friends.
